34th International Conference on Screening for Lung Cancer

Friday, May 6, 2016 to Saturday, May 7, 2016
Professional and Community Education Center, Kevin J. Sexton Campus of Holy Cross Health Hospital
Silver Spring, MD
United States

Agenda: 34th Conference Agenda

Mission:
The broadest mission of these conferences is the collective pursuit of understanding the issues surrounding early diagnosis and early treatment of lung cancer. Starting with the Early Lung Cancer Action Program (ELCAP), which evolved into the International (I-ELCAP), the focus has always been on practice-relevant research.

Now that CT screening for lung cancer is being implemented throughout the world, the focus of this conference is on the research needed for further identification of the findings in screening and research on the quantitative measures, and computer-aided assessment.

New registries are being developed to continue the needed updating of the regimen of screening and assessment of the associated benefits and potential harms.
